What is the Body Stress Release technique?
Pain can be held onto by the body because the initial cause, the ongoing tension and the repercussions have overwhelmed your body’s ability to heal itself. Body Stress Release (or BSR) is a progressive and rapidly growing non-invasive bodywork technique that helps your body let go.
Once the sites of tension have been identified and located in your body, a series of gentle ‘releases’ are performed. These releases are done as a slight pressure or impulse using the thumb or fingers. This precise but gentle approach initiates a series of messages to your brain, alerting it to stored tension and encouraging your natural, self-healing response to start. BSR is a safe technique that can be used across all ages and levels of health.

Having suffered with chronic back pain that hadn’t responded to osteopathy, physiotherapy, pilates and NHS consultants I had pretty much given up trying to find relief… I had 4 sessions and have been completely pain free for 7 months now. Some issues are resolved quickly, some take more time. I recommend a minimum 3 sessions to give your body the best chance to respond and change. I offer all my clients an introductory package at £120 made up of an initial hour-long session and two half hour sessions. Follow-up sessions are:
